Planning Obligation - A Guide to Section 106 and Developer Contributions

Representation ID: 277

Received: 11/12/2009

Respondent: National Express East Anglia / c2c Rail

Representation Summary:

It would be useful if the Council could require developers to demonstrate agreement in principle or consent from the appropriate rail authorities, where development is proposed on railway land. If this were a condition of an application being accepted, it might reduce the risk of applications being aborted at a later stage because railway approvals were not forthcoming.
