Representation Summary:

The Southend Campus also includes The Clifftown Studios, a magnificent former church in the heart of Southend's conservation area [within CAAP Clifftown quarter] that provides unique spaces for theatre-based rehearsal, technical and practical work.

University Square will be opening in October 2010 to provide new purpose-built University student residences in Southend.

Future plans to develop the Southend Campus are focused on the Elmer Square development, in partnership with Southend Borough Council and South Essex College and the provision of students' facilities.

Please also note that the correct name for the University is the 'University of Essex'.
