with all the new developments in the borough we should ensure that the developers are required to re-invest in the Southend community in the same way as they are required to in different boroughs eg use of the 106 agreement to insist that they employ a proportion of people from the SS post codes also that they employ a proportion of apprenticeships for every £m spend.
