Car parking should be reduced with visitors supported to use public transport and cap parks away from the main beach areas. Where car parks are in place, they should be provided with EV charging supported by solar PV, local wind and batteries and EVs should be given priority and lower car park charges.
This will enhance the space, lower AQ challenges, as well as enhancing the space of the tourists that visit
