We support the inclusion of part 1 of Policy DM14, concerning the requirements for land affected by contamination. We also welcome the inclusion of the related supporting text at paragraphs 7.5 - 7.11.

This section relates principally to land contamination and instability. This policy could be linked to policies relating to The Seafront with regards to protection of aquatic environment for the Ramsar and SPA sites within the Borough through consideration of the water receptors and pathways and would help strengthen the document further
