Finally I would ask the Council to be more open with your plans. When I bought my flat my solicitor did the usual searches and got told there were no plans for the area. A few months later the first plans for Seaway were published. I do not believe these were drawn up in such a short time. I know the Council does not have a legal obligation to reveal plans, but surely you have a MORAL obligation so that people can make the right decision where to live. Had I known about the Council's plans for this area I would have saved myself the heartache I'm going through now and not bought the flat.
