Representation Summary:
An important question is- Will current and future generations thank us for the new plans in years to come? High-rise developments like these may be typical of a large city, but I'm not sure that many residents of Southend want to live in a 'City by the sea'. I think they'd want Southend to retain some of its 'seaside town' charm. London is only an hour's train ride away; let's keep it that way, and not let London engulf the area. A vibrant, but charming town is the best thing to aim for, in my view.
